About Me.
I'm Boglarka Fazekas, a fashion business consultant and career coach with over 15 years of international experience in buying, merchandising, planning, retail management, and IT.
I was born in Hungary and grew up in a small town called Tiszakécske. From an early age, I played “shops” with my Mum's clothes and danced in bold outfits. As I grew up, this playtime became a reality, when I'd spend all my time adoring the beauty of Fashion Houses and Fashion Schools while reading Vogue front-to-back in Paris.
With a background in both fashion and economics — holding degrees from the London College of Fashion and Budapest University of Technology and Economics — I've built a career at the joint of commerce, creativity, business development and operational excellence. And now, I’m here to help you get closer to fashion as a business consultant and career coach.
Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Gap Inc., Peek&Cloppenburg are some of the iconic names that I worked with, as well as upcoming fashion designers and manufacturers, where I drove purposeful growth through a data-led, customer-centric approach. I've led teams of up to 52 people and managed retail businesses with annual revenues exceeding £100 million across EMEA. I have expertise across all retail channels — brick & mortar, e-commerce, e-concessions, wholesale and franchise.
Coming from Hungary, access to the fashion industry was limited. Today, I help businesses and individuals to break in and grow in this colourful industry by guiding them with industry knowledge, empathy, kindness, and practicality.

In my Career Coach business, I help students and professionals with career growth, employability and personal development to unlock their full potential. As a certified Growth Mindset teacher and LCF Alumni & Mentor, I'm passionate about supporting the next generation of fashion leaders and contributing to a more innovative, inclusive and kind industry.
In my Courses and Workshops, I deliver inclusive, practical sessions with hands-on experience, so participants gain knowledge and boost their confidence and skills in industry fundamentals, buying & merchandising strategies and career development.
